WhatsApp ops for short-term rentals
Helmstay is an assistant that lives inside the WhatsApp threads you already have — and runs the whole show from there. Any language. One-tap approval. Connects to your booking calendar.
No language barriers — for anyone. Your Bahasa-speaking cleaner, your English handyman, your Russian guest, your Korean check-in — each texts naturally in their own language. You read every thread in yours, and Helmstay sends replies back to each person in theirs. Nobody has to switch languages to get an answer.
Anything that needs you comes to you in one tap. Cleaner reports a broken AC → the handyman gets pulled in with your sign-off. Guest asks for late checkout → you say yes from WhatsApp. Handyman quotes $120 in parts → you approve before they buy. Want to change tonight's rate or block dates for maintenance? Same flow. All from one shared memory.
Knows who's checking in tomorrow, what nights are blocked, and what tonight's rate is. Ask "who's my next guest?" or "what's revenue this month?" — instant answer, no dashboard to dig through. Text "block June 4–5 for maintenance" — it asks once, you tap yes, done. OwnerRez today, Hostfully and Guesty coming.
One source of truth · live in production
Every stakeholder texts naturally in their own language. You see everything in yours, in one place. The host is the controller. Helmstay does the wiring.
Laura + the AC issue is a real exchange from production logs (2026-05-16, blurred for PII). The other three threads illustrate the same pattern at scale — one host, every stakeholder in their own language, one shared memory.
Who built this
Three months ago I got tired of running my Pagosa Springs Airbnb through five different apps. The cleaner texts me. The handyman texts me. The guest texts me. The propane guy texts me. Five threads, no shared memory, and somehow I'm the one trying to remember what each person said.
So I started building Helmstay for myself. Now it's in production at Mountain Dreams Ranch — and I'm in Bali talking to boutique villa managers about what they need from a tool like this.
The pain is the same here as it is in Pagosa — different climate, same WhatsApp chaos.
Coffee on me if you're in Bali. Otherwise, a WhatsApp or email and I'll come to you.
